1. Is Perio-Mate safe for subgingival use?
   Yes. Perio-Mate uses low-abrasive glycine powder specifically designed for safe subgingival application up to 6 mm without damaging periodontal tissues.
2. Can it be used around implants and restorations?
   Absolutely. The non-contact, low-abrasive cleaning method makes it ideal for implants, crowns, bridges, and prosthetic restorations without surface damage.
3. How is it different from conventional sodium bicarbonate air polishing?
   Glycine particles (25 μm) are significantly finer and less abrasive than sodium bicarbonate (≈73 μm), allowing gentle yet more effective biofilm removal, especially in periodontal pockets.
